Seasonal storage comes as standard on all our frame beds, this provides a great alternative to wasted space under the bed. Ideal for items you do not need daily access to. Although this under bed storage is a great use of space this is not ideal for daily storage needs.

Adding the ottoman storage bed option on to our frame bed allows you to access the under bed storage with ease. Ottoman storage beds provide an easy - gas piston assisted - lift making it an ideal storage frame bed for those requiring daily access.

Supplied with boards which you can either place on the dedicated support bars on the ottoman storage bed (if you want to store off the floor), or these boards can be placed under the bars to increase the depth of under bed storage.

When adding the ottoman storage bed option on our frame beds the storage function will lift from the foot end of the bed.

On our ottoman storage beds the platform where your mattress sits is a metal frame with wooden slats. Each ottoman storage bed option with wooden slats have a support bar through the center of them making them more durable to regular slated storage beds. For example in a double size bed the storage frame will have 1 metal bar in the center and then 1 reinforced metal bar on both sides where you would sleep. Our storage beds do not sacrifice quality and durability while providing practicality.

When selecting the ottoman storage bed option on our frame beds note that the length of the bed will increase by approximately 2 inches to allow the mechanism to operate. (Dimensions on our beds can be found on each product page)

Although our ottoman storage frame beds vary significantly in size (depending on design) our ottoman storage divan beds take no more space than a regular divan bed. This means the overall footprint of the ottoman divan bed will be the same as its equivalent mattress size plus 2 inches for the headboard. Note on ottoman storage divan beds with side lift option the length is increased by 2 inches to allow the bed to lift past the headboard. (Dimensions on our beds can be found on each product page)

All our ottoman storage divan beds come with a 54 inch tall floor standing headboard which is secured with 4 headboard bolts to the ottoman storage divan bed.

Our ottoman storage divan beds come fully built and require minimal assembly. All sizes other than single come in 2 halves. You join the 2 halves together with the provided u clips which slide on to secure the beds in place. A bolt is used to secure the 2 top lids and 4 bolts secure the tall floor standing headboard to the ottoman storage divan bed.

The high tension gas pistons come pre fit to the ottoman storage divan bed and the top of the pistons just need to be placed in position and bolted to the lid.
